The Annual Christmas Walk through downtown Hancock, brought a visit from Santa Claus, along with the Hancock VFD Fire Truck to lead the Parade. Santa hitched a ride after arrving from the North Pole via sleigh, and was dropped off at City Hall for the tree lighting ceremony. All kinds of goodies and refreshments were waiting, compliments of the Hancock Business and Professional Association. Santa spent time listening to youngsters wish lists. One of them was William Shapton, His parents are William and Martha Shapton, of Hubbell. Santa's elf presents a Christmas gift to another youngster.
And still more goodies await, for all attending. The annual horse and sleigh ride, this year with some 3-4 inches of new snow to ride on. Hancock's Official Christmas Tree in Montezuma Park, as Old Glory flies above. Seasons Greetings to All.
