PARADE OF NATIONS - 2013

ďGLOBAL VARIATION IN ONE LOCATIONĒ is the theme for this y ears 24th Annual Parade of Nations. The Parade starts in downtown Hancock, and runs through to Houghton and the Dee Stadium for an afternoon of food and fun.
 
The Honorary Parade Marshall this year is the City of Houghton Manager Scott MacInnes. The Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College group. Chinaís student representation. This float presented by Laos students.
Brazilís students. Finlandís group, mostly from Finlandia University in Hancock. A large student group from India. And also a large contingent from Japan.
The Global Village concept is represented here. A group of students from the Mediterranean Island of Malta. Some of the students from our neighbor, Mexico. Korea brought along some horses for the Parade.
Students from Thailand. And last, but not least, a contingent from Vietnam.
