Become a Board Member

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to serve on our boards and commissions. These individuals should have the ability to make decisions, work as part of a team, and want to guide the future of our community. Board members and commissioners help to advise the Hancock City Council on decisions related to specific areas of interest and most require only a few hours of service a month. More information:

Meeting Schedules

If for any reason there is a change in dates or a special meeting is called, Public Notice of said meeting shall be given pursuant to and in compliance with Act. No. 267, Public Acts of Michigan, 1976, as amended.

Planning Commission Meeting

All Planning Commission Meetings are held in the Hancock City Hall Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m..

Meetings are held the 4th Monday of each month.

 

Hancock Housing Commission

Hancock Housing Commission meetings are held at Lakeview Manor at 2:00 p.m..

Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month. Please refer to the Event Calendar for specific dates or changes due to holidays or other events.

 

Hancock Recreation Commission Meetings

All Hancock Recreation Commission Meetings are held in the Hancock City Hall Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m.

Meetings are held the second Tuesday every other month beginning in January. Please refer to the Event Calendar for specific dates or changes due to holidays or other events.

 

Hancock Downtown Development Authority

All Downtown Development Authority Meetings are held in the Hancock City Hall Council Chambers and begin at 6:00 p.m.

Meetings are held the first Monday of each month. Please refer to the Event Calendar for specific dates or changes due to holidays or other events.

 

Cemetery Committee Meetings

Cemetery Committee Meetings are held in the Hancock City Hall Chambers. Begins at 5:00 p.m.

Meetings are held the second Tuesday of every third month beginning in January. Please refer to the Event Calendar for specific dates or changes due to holidays or other events.
