Recycling bins for sale
35-gallon curbside recycling bins will be available for city residents to purchase for a fee of $10.00. These carts are durable, Michigan Made, will include instructions on how to recycle, and normally retail at $60.+. A recycling grant has enabled the city to purchase 400 bins and we encourage residents to purchase a bin for themselves or sponsor a bin for their neighbors. Consider picking up a bin for your rental unit, as the city may require rental units to provide durable and clearly labeled recycling bins (s) with capacity for all renters in the near future.
Recycling bins can be purchased with cash or checks.
You may pick one up at City Hall during regular business hours, M-F, from 8-5p.m.
