With the return to school following the Holidays, work gets under way on the Winter Statue building for MTU’s winter Carnival. The theme this year is “COME TO LIFE IN FROSTY WAYS, NOSTALGIC FILMS OF CHILDHOOD DAYS”. Snowfall was bountiful this year, unlike some recent years, but dangerously low chill temperatures caused some lost construction time, as safety concerns by MTU brought construction to a halt at times.
