2008 - St. Patrick’s Day
March 19, 2008
The annual ‘wearing of the green’ in Hancock, came on a windy and very cool day this year, but at least, no snow.

The annual morning Parade was led off by the Hancock High ROTC Drill Team Unit. The well wishers included both young and old. This home made cart was a new entry this year. A group of perennial Irish supporters, show us how to wear the green.
The sun comes out as this group passes by. Even the Easter Bunny makes an appearance this year, as Easter comes early. The Irish Day Band makes it’s annual appearance in the Parade. This unidentified gentleman entertained the dining crowd at O'Gino’s Restaurant following the Parade.
The Lake Superior Bags and Pipes play at the luncheon festivities. Here the group gets ready to perform. A view of some of the Irish well wishers at the luncheon. And the Bags and Pipes take their turn at entertaining the crowd.
