April 15 City Council meeting: Public Participation Details

Due to Executive Order 2020-21, the April 15, 2020 City Council meeting will be held virtually with City Councilors and Staff attending remotely through Zoom conferencing.
Public Participation
There will be two options for public participation in this meeting: phone conferencing or written comment. There will be two public comment periods for the meeting, one at the beginning and one at the end. Comments will be limited to three minutes per speaker and speakers must give their name and address. Written comments will be limited to 300 words.
Members of the public wishing to call in and make a comment over the phone will need to call 312-626-6799 and enter the meeting ID (740 0104 5194). During the public comment periods caller will need to press *9 to notify the Mayor that they have a comment.
When participating via phone conferencing, you will be placed on mute until the Public Comment portions of the meetings are reached. Once Public Comment begins, the Mayor will go through each person one at a time and provide them with the opportunity to address the Council.
The phone conference lobby will open at 5:55 p.m. on April 15.
Written comments can be submitted by mail or put in dropbox at Hancock City Hall 399 Quincy Street or directly to city@cityofhancock.net. Written submissions will be accepted until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15th.
