16th Annual Barneløpet
If you are ages 3-17 yo, join Keweenaw Nordic Ski Club (KNSC) on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at 1 pm for a day of skiing at the 16th Annual Barneløpet at Hancock’s Maasto Hiihto trails. When you complete the course, you’ll receive an awesome medallion for your efforts. Join in the fun at the Four Seasons Chalet this Sunday — FREE for all kids and families.

FRIDAY NIGHT FEATURE @montripleypark
WHAT: This event brings the community together and focus on one new feature each week. This will be a jam-style event that will welcome everyone. Swag and prizes from sponsors will be given out each week. The entry fee is $1 or 2 cans of non-perishable food. The total money and food donations will be given out to local charitable organizations after the final event. Stay tuned for more details.

FREE FISHING WEEKEND
Two days twice a year, families and friends can enjoy one of Michigan's premier outdoor activities, Michigan Fishing, for FREE! Free Fishing Weekend dates for 2023 are: Feb. 18 and 19 and June 10 and 11. All fishing license fees will be waived for two days. Residents and out-of-state visitors may enjoy fishing on both inland and Great Lakes waters for all species of fish. All fishing regulations will still apply. A Recreation Passport will NOT be required for entry into state parks and boating access sites during Free Fishing Weekends.
